Join Drum Artz Canada for our annual Community Day & BBQ on Saturday May 26th from 12:30pm-3:00pm. You and your family can get your hands dirty helping to plant the community garden, and then enjoy a lovely BBQ on our rooftop patio. Finish the day by playing a drum, a shaker, or bell at our Samba drumming workshop. Registration forms will also be available on site for all summer Samba Kidz programs.

Drum Artz Canada founder and executive director Gili Zemer was recently honoured with one of Toronto’s Community Culture Champion awards. The Celebrate 27 Arts Fest Community Cultural Champions project recognizes the significant contribution that cultural champions make in our communities.
Samba Camp is an ongoing series of beginner workshops open to anyone interested in learning to play percussion in an ensemble. No experience is required, all instruments are provided.
DAC produces multi-media educational presentations aimed at school groups and classes. These events are customizable depending on age or school grade, group size and desired curriculum content, and include video, slide shows, live performance and musical mini-workshops.
