Samba Squad is a community based, thirty-plus member drumming group whose faces reflect the multi-racial diversity of our great city. Samba Squad has become one of the most dynamic and exhilarating live music experiences in Toronto.
In August 2005 and September 2006, Samba Squad's "Guerilla Samba" double-decker bus tour brought rhythm and energy to Toronto communities, such as Rexdale, Jane & Finch, Regent Park, Little India and St. Jamestown. Samba Squad reaches out to people of all cultures, celebrating inclusion and overcoming cultural barriers.
Red Pepper works with communities through innovative arts projects to foster esteem and pride in self and community. Their diverse workshops and performances are always rooted in community, theatre and participation. 
Red Pepper has facilitated extensive multi-disciplinary collaborative productions at their downtown Toronto storefront studio, in schools across the GTA, and in remote First Nations communities.
In September 2004, Red Pepper collaborated with ArtStarts for a community-wide residents' project in the Syme-Woolner neighborhood, producing mosaic murals and outdoor installations contributing to the "illumination" of community spaces. Perhaps best known is Red Pepper's annual Kensington Festival of Lights, now in its 16th year. This huge multi-cultural outdoor celebration on the longest night of the year is created by community members and artists working together to produce a gala parade and theatre on rooftops.
Jennilea is the director of CircleSing! CircleSing! programming focuses on promoting physical awareness and skill development in music and storytelling to participants and their caregivers. CircleSing! programs inspire confidence and encourage community members to develop listening skills, explore creative impulses and work together in rhythm, song, dance and storytelling.
